Aminata C. Kamara is an Associate at the Philadelphia office of Naulty, Scaricamazza, & McDevitt, LLC, where she practices with the firm’s Medical Malpractice and General Liability Departments. Aminata focuses her practice in the areas of medical malpractice, nursing home malpractice, products liability and insurance defense.
Aminata has prior experience in workers’ compensation defense where she represented insurers, employers, and third-party administrators in all aspects of workers’ compensation claims from inception through resolution. In addition to her experience practicing workers’ compensation defense, Aminata served as a judicial law clerk to the Hon. Diana L. Anhalt of the Court of Common Pleas, Criminal Trial Division, where she reviewed appellate briefs to ensure compliance with case and governing laws, researched and drafted direct and interlocutory appeal opinions, and attended trials and hearings as liaison between judges, counsel, detectives, and courtroom staff. Aminata also gained experience as a paralegal in the City of Philadelphia District Attorney’s Office.
Aminata is admitted to practice in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and the State of New Jersey. She is a member of the Philadelphia Bar Association, The Philadelphia Association of Defense Counsel, The Barristers’ Association of Philadelphia, Inc., and The National Bar Association Women Lawyers Division: Philadelphia Chapter. Aminata is an active member of the Delaware Valley Section of the National Council of Negro Women (NCNW), where she participates in programming and initiatives advancing social justice, economic empowerment, and community development throughout Philadelphia.
Aminata graduated from Temple University in 2015 where she majored in Political Science. Subsequently, Aminata graduated cum laude from Western Michigan University Thomas M. Cooley Law School, Lansing Campus in 2021.
