Robert E. Dillon is a partner in the Philadelphia office of Naulty, Scaricamazza & McDevitt, LLC and focuses his practice in the areas of medical malpractice defense, nursing home malpractice defense and product liability defense. Robert has over twenty years experience providing advice and counsel to physicians and health care providers throughout the Philadelphia metropolitan area.
With his extensive trial experience, Robert has represented physicians of nearly every specialty in medicine, ranging from family practice physicians to neurosurgeons. He has successfully defended multi-million dollar cases on various accusations involving wrongful death, improper surgical technique, delays in the diagnosis of cancer, and the improper interpretation of radiographic film. Robert has obtained over one hundred defense verdicts on behalf of doctors and healthcare providers.
Robert provides advice to his client base and frequently lectures on risk management issues. He has spoken before the Pennsylvania Podiatric Medical Association, physicians, and several medical organizations. Many of Robert’s cases have been published in the “Pennsylvania Jury Verdict Review and Analysis”. Additionally, he is an active member of the Pennsylvania, Philadelphia and Montgomery County Bar Associations. Robert has twice been selected to Super Lawyers magazine's yearly list of "Pennsylvania Super Lawyers".
Robert earned his Bachelor of Arts Degree from Catholic University of America in 1989, where he participated in Division III football and served as team captain during his senior year. Robert entered the night program at Catholic University Columbus School of Law in Washington, D.C. in 1990, and he earned his Juris Doctorate in 1993. While in law school, Robert worked full-time as a legal aide.
Robert is admitted to practice in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, and before the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania.
